Tips from the Resort
- Recommended minimum stay is one week for a rejuvenating experience. Packages available for – 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 + days
- For Panchakarma treatments, book an online consultation with our Senior Ayurveda Doctor prior to your arrival for free
- Kindly inform reservation in advance if there is a suspected pregnancy as Ayurveda treatments are not recommended during pregnancy
- Forward a copy of your Doctor’s Report to doctor@softouchayurveda.com after booking confirmation
- Internet is available throughout the resort, but we can limit your access to wifi and keep your devices locked in a safe place to facilitate digital detox should you prefer
Payments & Cancellations

- Online Payments are processed via Stripe (Mastercard & Visa)
- Payments are also possible in cash and all major currencies are accepted or through card terminals
- 50 % advance payment is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining amount due 2 weeks prior to arrival
- The cancellation policy are as follows:
– If cancelled at any point, 20% of the booking invoice amount will be charged
– Cancellations within 15-30 days incur 50% retention: within 10 days, full retention applies - Postponed booking are dealt on a case to case basis depending upon the merit of the request, we remain committed to staying flexible
Common Practises
- Kindly refrain from keeping your legs over the table or chair in public areas such as the lobby, etc as it is considered ill-mannered
- Adequate clothing is required when using public areas such as the library, home theatre, restaurant, reception, and lounges
- Reduce noise levels in the room, dining area, and public spots to maintain the calmness and not disturb other guests’ experience
- Prepare your body and mind for Ayurvedic treatment by taking care of your diet, avoiding alcohol and smoking. Smoking is not allowed inside the resort
- If you wish to tip the staff, there is a common tipping box located at the Ayurveda Center where you can place the intended amount in an envelope to ensure fair distribution among all team members
Location & Indian Visa
Softouch Ayurveda Village is located in Chalakudy, Thrissur district, Kerala. It is 8 km from Muringoor, NH- 17 to the resort
Cochin Airport is 24 km away and takes 45 – 60 minutes depending on the traffic by car and transfers are included
Chalakudy Railway Station is 9 km away and takes 25 minutes by car
To enter and visit in India you will need to apply for an E-Tourist visa. To be on the safe side, apply 10 days prior to your travel
