Yes. Softouch Ayurveda Village is an NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital with resident and consultant physicians, offering full medical Panchakarma — not a spa. Every treatment is prescribed and monitored by qualified Ayurveda doctors.

Authentic Panchakarma requires a minimum of 14 nights so the body can move through preparation, cleansing and rejuvenation. Your physician confirms the ideal duration in a pre-arrival consultation.

Every stay is fully all-inclusive, and all prices include taxes. The nightly rate covers your accommodation, two daily Ayurvedic therapies, daily doctor consultations, full-board organic vegetarian meals, daily yoga and meditation, prescribed Ayurvedic medicines during your stay, and airport transfers — there are no separate treatment fees to add on. Pricing is consistent across treatment types and varies only with your room category, length of stay, and single or double occupancy, so a rejuvenation programme and a Panchakarma programme in the same room cost the same per night. Panchakarma programmes require a minimum stay of two weeks, as they involve additional treatments and procedures — all included in the package price. The only items not included are discharge (take-home) medicines, which are a small, optional cost if you choose to continue treatment at home, and laundry if needed. Yes. We're happy to arrange trips to nearby destinations — such as the majestic Athirappilly Waterfalls — scheduled around your treatments so nothing is missed. Transport is coordinated at the resort, and we use our own electric (EV) vehicles for guest travel.

All meals are pure vegetarian and Dosha-labelled, much of it grown on our own organic farm. Your doctor tailors the plan to your constitution and treatment, and we can accommodate common dietary needs.

We are about 25 km — roughly 50 minutes — from Cochin International Airport (COK), in Chalakudy on the banks of the Chalakudy River. Complimentary airport transfers are included with a minimum 7-night stay.

Softouch is open year-round. The monsoon months (roughly June–September) are traditionally considered ideal for Panchakarma, as the cooler, humid weather helps the body respond to treatment — but every season has its benefits.

If you have recent blood work or medical reports, please bring them — they help our physician personalise your programme. It isn't essential; a thorough consultation on arrival covers everything.

Yes. We've partnered with trusted local hospitals and diagnostic labs, so if you'd like blood work, an X-ray, an MRI or other tests, we can arrange them. These are paid directly to the provider, only if you need them.

To protect the calm, restful experience our guests come for, we don't accommodate children under 10. Children aged 10–18 stay free of charge, and an extra bed can be added — though only in our larger units (the Presidential Suite, Garden Villa 2, Ayur Villa and Grand Villa) due to room configuration.
