Signature therapies

A menu of authentic treatments

Your doctor prescribes the right therapies for your programme. A selection of what our therapists offer:

Rejuvenation massages

  • Abhyangam60–90 min

A deeply relaxing full-body massage performed in seven postures with specially crafted herbal oils. It treats the body holistically — strengthening the nervous system, nourishing the body internally and restoring physical, mental and emotional balance.

  • Njavarakizhi60–90 min

Fomentation of the whole body with boluses of Njavara rice cooked in milk and herbs. It eliminates toxins, purifies the tissues and restores vitality — enhancing complexion, nourishing the joints, muscles and nervous system, boosting immunity and pacifying Vata.

  • Shirodhara30–60 min

A slow, steady stream of medicated oil, decoction or buttermilk poured over the forehead. It improves concentration, relieves sleep problems and lowers stress, anxiety and fatigue, with a deeply calming, vasodilatory effect on the body.

  • Padabhyangam (foot)30 min

A soothing Ayurvedic foot massage that calms and balances the nervous system. It relieves stress, improves blood circulation, eases swelling and soreness in the lower legs, and benefits insomnia and mental fatigue.

  • Shiro Abhyangam (head)15 min

Massage of the head, neck and shoulders with warm herbalised oil, working on marma points to boost scalp and intracranial circulation. It calms the mind, promotes hair growth, nourishes the tissues and reduces pain.

Wellness massages

  • Elakkizhy60 min

Warm roasted medicinal leaves in a muslin bolus, applied after a full-body massage. It promotes detoxification, opens the pores and improves peripheral circulation — helping expel toxins and slowing age-related joint degeneration.

  • Narangakkizhy45–60 min

A warm bolus of lemon, Shatapushpa, grated coconut and rock salt applied to the muscles and joints. It relieves pain, inflammation and tension and improves flexibility.

  • Avikkizhy45 min

A pouch of potent herbal powders heated with herbal-decoction steam and rhythmically stamped over the body by two therapists. It opens the body's micro-channels and pores, expelling inflammation and swelling.

  • Ksheera Dhara30–45 min

A continuous stream of lukewarm medicated milk poured over the forehead after a light oil massage. It soothes the hypothalamus, regulates the pituitary gland, induces sleep and enhances mental clarity and cognitive function.

  • Swedana therapy30–45 min

Herbal-steam therapy that purifies the body by expelling toxins through the skin. It rebalances Vata, Pitta and Kapha, improves circulation and complexion, and imparts softness and strength while easing the effects of ageing.

Beauty & skin care

  • Udvarthanam45–60 min

An invigorating dry herbal-powder massage using vigorous upward strokes. It exfoliates dead skin, reduces excess body fat, strengthens the muscles and removes body odour caused by excessive sweating.

  • Ksheera Sekam45–60 min

A gentle cascade of medicated milk poured over the whole body, inducing perspiration to purge toxins. It improves physical appearance, revitalises the nervous system, deepens sleep and overcomes fatigue.

  • Njavara facial30–45 min

A facial using boluses of Njavara rice cooked in herbal decoction and milk, gently massaged over the face and neck. It nourishes the skin, improves circulation, stimulates the lymphatic system and restores natural radiance.

  • Mukha Lepam30–45 min

A soothing face massage followed by curated herbal pastes targeting pigmentation, discolouration, wrinkles, dark circles and dullness. It tones and tightens the skin and retains the youth and vitality of the facial tissues.

  • Mukhabhyangam15–20 min

A revitalising face massage with Nalpamaradi and Kumkumadi Taila. It renders a natural glow by increasing lymph flow, tones the facial muscles to prevent sagging, removes dead skin cells and reduces sun damage.

Popular Ayurveda massages

  • Pichu30–45 min

A sterile cotton pad soaked in Ayurvedic oils held over swollen joints or sore muscles. It improves circulation, promotes healing and relieves pain — very effective for degenerative, painful spinal problems and for strengthening the affected tissues.

  • Kativasthi (back & spine)30 min

Warm Ayurvedic oil retained over the lumbar spine within a herbal-dough wall, followed by gentle massage. It lubricates the intervertebral joints, reduces low-back pain and stiffness, and restores flexibility and mobility.

  • Januvasthi (knee)30 min

Warm medicated oil pooled over the knee joint within a gram-flour compartment. It boosts circulation, helps the bones absorb calcium and improve bone density, and increases mobility by raising synovial fluid.

  • Urovasthi (chest)30 min

Warm medicated oil retained over the chest within a black-gram-flour wall. It strengthens the neuromuscular system, relieves muscular chest pain and is effective in cardiomyopathy and respiratory disorders.

  • Upanaham30 min

Herbal bandaging with medicated ingredients, applied warm or cold. It clears stagnant blood to promote circulation, improves flexibility and eases chronic, hardened swellings — beneficial in osteoarthritis, tennis elbow and heel spur.

  • Dhanyamla Kizhy30 min

A warm bolus of grains and fermented liquid (Dhanyamla) applied at a precise temperature. It facilitates the elimination of excess doshas and toxins, easing inflammation, stiffness and pain.
