Ein toller Aufenthalt mit klasse Kerala Essen a la Mama🫶🏼.
☺Wir haben uns für diese Unterkunft wegen den guten Bewertungen entschieden.
Das Familien geführte Hotel ist sehr schmackhaft eingerichtet.
Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben oft für Ausflüge ein Taksi gebucht, wo wir unterstützt wurden. Auch außerhalb der Esszeiten haben wir unser Essen sehr liebevoll serviert bekommen.
Ein tolles Abendgespräch hatten wir mit den Besitzern der Unterkunft.
Die Lage ist wundervoll direk am Fluss gelegen. Tolle Gartenanlage und ein schicker Pool.
☹Wir hatten Probleme mit der Klimaanlage, deshalb haben wir das Zimmer gewechselt. Unser Problem wurde schnell gelöst!
Allgemein war die Luftfeuchtigkeit sehr hoch zu unserer Zeit, dass hat man im Haus gemerkt.

Highly recommend this beautiful place for a holistic, relaxing stay.
☺ Softouch Ayurveda Village in Kerala was superb, thank you! We stayed 2 nights in a lovely room, spacious, cool & elegantly decorated with a huge, well appointed bathroom. The main house is fantastic, a beautiful big old colonial home with really lovely eclectic style- designed by the owner. It is set in wonderful grounds next to the river- ideal for bird & nature watching.
Most importantly of all though are the hosts- impressively professional & so kind & friendly! The food was delicious, we had great home cooked vegetarian meals. The Ayurvedic consultation & treatments were thoroughly explained & were very relaxing & reinvigorating.
We enjoyed really great conversations with interesting people, they arranged trips out & were knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna & culture. Thank you!
☹ Difficult to think of anything but long mirror near a plug in the rooms would be good please.

☺بشكل عام كانت تجربة اكثر من رائعة، جلست فترة ابحث عن منتجع علاجي تتوفر فيه جميع الخدمات وكان خيار مناسب الحقيقة.
نبدى يومنا الصباح بجلسة يوقا لمدة ساعه، بعدها نروح نفطر بعدها نلعب بلياردو او نشوف فلم بعدين نروح الجلسة العلاجية الشعبية الأولى وهي حسب خطة يضعها الطبيب المقيم بالمنتجع بعد كذا وجبة الغداء وممكن تقضي وقتك تمشي بالحديقة الواسعه او سباحة او في المكتبة بعدها تبدى جلسة علاجية ثانية، وبعدها نروح لأي مكان قريب نتمشى فيه لين يجي وقت وجبة العشاء، الجميل بالموضوع ان المكان جدا هادي بوسط غابة مطله عالنهر وفيه عدة فعاليات بالمكان تخلينا مانحتاج نطلع منه، الأكل لذيذ ومتغير واخذت الباقة الكاملة بالخدمات بشكل مباشر مع المنتجع.

Accoglienza e ospitalità, relax, natura, yoga e ayurveda in una struttura bellissima ricca di charme
☺Mi è piaciuto tutto di questa meravigliosa struttura. Prima di tutto l’ACCOGLIENZA. All’arrivo mi hanno accolta con collana di fiori profumatissima e un latte di cocco squisito. Dopo la sistemazione nella mia suite ho potuto assaporare il cibo delizioso preparato con molta cura. Una bella passeggiata per scoprire la natura nella quale il resort è immerso. Il mio soggiorno è durato una settimana e per una settimana sono stata coccolata da tutto il personale e dalla meravigliosa famiglia che lo gestisce. Sempre pronti ad esaudire ogni mio desiderio. Come in una fiaba. Tranquillità, relax, natura, massaggi, yoga, passeggiate, lettura, piscina…tutto perfetto. Grazie🌺❤️🙏🏻

Often, when we review a place, we try to summarize it into one word. Well, I’ve been trying to think of a word—the perfect word, rather—to describe this little Ayurvedic oasis that goes by the name of Softouch.
I searched the internet for hours, looking at all different places in Kerala, trying to find the right Ayurvedic center for my stay. When I stumbled across Softouch, I knew it was exactly where I needed to be.
All I can say now is that I couldn’t be more grateful that I had the privilege of staying and experiencing such love and care from each and every one of the incredible individuals who work here and make this place the sanctuary that it is.
I’ve never in my life been so warmly welcomed, and I instantly felt I had become a part of a family. The doctor’s appointments, Ayurvedic treatments, the incredible variety of food, the cozy and beautiful accommodation, the location, and the undivided attention and warmth that you receive are inestimable.
I discussed with some of the other guests during my stay how amazing it is that, as guests, we never felt lost in a crowd or that we were just another customer. But rather seen, understood, and appreciated. It’s a truly unique and rare thing to experience.
I seriously cannot fault this place, and it’s all a credit and reflection of the beautiful and hardworking family who operates it.
I never found the perfect word to describe this haven because there’s no single word in the dictionary that could possibly capture the beauty, professionalism, and overall magic of this place. Besides, it would be almost rude to try to condense it all down to a single word.
I’m forever grateful for the time I spent at Softouch. Thank you all for giving me an experience I will always treasure; I truly adored each moment.

Team Softouch exceeded our expectations...This was our first ayurveda experience and we left relaxed, rejuvenated and feeling happy and healthy! The team of doctors, therapists, chefs and service staff were patient focused and customer centric....we would highly recommend them and hope to be back soon!

We just left after staying 28 days in this wonderful Ayurvedic resort and I would say, this is the best resort. From the time we step in until we left, we were well taken care by Davis,Preethi,Karan,Kevin, Dr Henry,Dr Jugunu,Dr Anjana and all the staff in Softouch,there is so much of love and care.
We enjoyed the hospitality and love shown by each one of them and it was an out-of-the-world experience for us. The treatment was fantastic and whoever the guest, we spoke to, each one of them benefited from the treatment.
The food was fantastic, the resort was super clean and the rooms were huge and you experience tranquility in this resort. It is so peaceful and calm.
Words cannot describe the love shown by all, but one must experience it themselves and we came as guests and left as a family, Kudos to each one of you in maintaining the resort with top-notch service

Softouch is name I can’t forget solely because we had a wonderful one week of Ayurveda treatment. A place where we had round the clock activities that kept us totally healthy and happy. The delicious yet healthy all three meals that was prepared under the supervision of the lady of house Preethy was the highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed extra activities such as fishing, kayaking, swimming, sightseeing and lots more. They took us to a local temple festival that is an ever memorable and most enjoyable experience. I can continue to say lot more good things about this place. Karan a young man who runs the resort continuously improving the quality of the facilities at retreat.

C'est dans un cadre idyllique & luxuriant que j'ai découvert mon lieu de résidence pour ma première expérience ayurvédique. C'est une structure familiale et l'esprit convivial se ressent jusqu'à l'ensemble des personnes qui y travaillent. L'équipe médicale, les masseurs, les personnes en cuisine, les jardiniers, etc sont d'une extrême gentillesse et sont là pour vous, à vos petits soins. J'ai adoré me balader sur la propriété, me laisser enchanter par le bruit de la faune, profiter de la présence des kayaks pour découvrir les environs sur la rivière en bordure de propriété. Le matin, vous avez la possibilité de venir dérouler votre tapis (prêt) pour une pratique de yoga paisible, sur une plateforme dédiée (clairière), bercée par le chant des oiseaux. L'après-midi, il est bien agréable après les soins de venir lire en bord de piscine ou de s'y rafraichir. J'ai eu également la chance de participer à 1 cours de cuisine: nous apprenons à utiliser les épices pour faire entre autres du chutney, dosas et autres plats à savourer. Les chambres et cottages proposés sont d'un très grand confort, il en est de même pour les salles de soin de Panchakarma. Karan et sa famille mettent tout en œuvre pour que votre séjour se déroule au mieux pour vous donner envie de revenir dans ce magnifique havre de paix.

due to lack of time, me and my husband got only 2 days for ayurvedic massages type retreat. i found this property on you tube while searching and thought to take a chance but it came out just magically awesome, and hence i would like to recommend this to everyone .you should come here and experience this at least once in your lifetime, once you come you will like to visit this every time, this is such a rejuvenating change which is indeed must in highly stressful plus mentally, physically exhausted days.
here, every time we felt like a home and family.
the staff is very polite, doctors are wise, knowledgeable, massagers are well trained, you will get treatment after consultation with doctors and have to follow medicines and diet given by them. food quality is very good. also you have ample of things to do like pool, pottery sessions, yoga, kayaking, cycling, library, home-theater, pool table games and much more. in 2 days only i can feel 90% of health improvement. special thanks to Mr. Dev sir and Mr. Karan sir who had maintained Indian traditional therapies alive and also made our stay very comfortable with their friendly and helpful nature.

We had the most magical stay at Softouch Ayurveda Village over New Year's, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind, heal, and connect. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with warmth, care, and a sense of belonging that made this retreat so much more than just a wellness getaway.
The family atmosphere at Softouch is something truly special. The closeness with the hosts, their family, and the other guests created a deep sense of community, making every moment feel personal and cherished. It’s rare to find a place where luxury and comfort blend so seamlessly with authenticity and heart.
The Ayurvedic treatments were exceptional—tailored precisely to our needs, deeply rejuvenating, and administered with expertise and care. The consultations with the Ayurveda doctor ensured that each therapy was personalized, making the healing process incredibly effective. Every massage and treatment left us feeling lighter, more balanced, and truly revitalized.
Beyond the treatments, we adored the local excursions that added an adventurous touch to our stay. Our trip to Athirappilly Falls was breathtaking, and shopping for spices gave us a true taste of Kerala’s rich culture. The kayaking experience was another highlight—peaceful, meditative, and the perfect complement to our Ayurvedic journey.
The resort itself is a hidden gem, beautifully designed with traditional Kerala architecture and modern comforts. With only few exclusive rooms, the experience felt intimate and serene. Every detail, from the nourishing full-board meals to the rejuvenating yoga sessions, contributed to a sense of holistic well-being. The seamless airport transfers and thoughtful hospitality made everything effortless, allowing us to fully immerse in the experience.
Softouch Ayurveda Village is not just a retreat—it’s a sanctuary where body, mind, and soul are nurtured. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the love and care we received. 人生で一番素晴らしかった旅の一つです
初めて女性一人でインドへ来ることもあり正直最初は不安でした。 安全に旅行する為に、沢山調べた中で最も空港から近く、空港へのピックアップサポートがあり、本格的なアーユルヴェーダの施設が受けられるこちらを選びました。 施設は写真の通りに美しく、他の皆さんがレビューをされている通りサービスもスタッフの皆様の人柄も、お部屋も、広いお庭もとても素晴らしいです。 家族経営のこじんまりとしたリゾートだからこその温かいサービスに触れることができました。 予約、滞在中全ての対応をメインにしてくださったKaranさんもとても仕事が早く、優しくて沢山助けて下さいました。 アーユルヴェーダの治療も本格的で、滞在した約９日間の中で想像以上の結果が出てとても嬉しいです。他のゲストの方々も皆優しく、まるで家族のように食事やヨガを共にしたので戻ってきた今も寂しいほどです。 いつかまた必ず訪れたいと思うリゾートでした。ありがとうございました。

Der Aufenthalt im Resort hat all meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Von der kompetenten medizinischen Betreuung durch die Doktor.innen (inklusive Nachbetreuung über die Kurzeit hinaus) und den Therapist.innen über die engagiert geführte Küche mit ausgewählten Lebensmitteln bis zur hingebungsvollen Gastfreundschaft im Familienbetrieb blieben keine Wünsche offen. Ob als Single, Familie oder Gruppe unterwegs, es gibt passende, komfortable Unterkünfte eingebettet in eine weitläufige, paradiesisch schöne Grünanlage mit einer großen Pflanzenvielfalt. Die erfreulichen Extras im Freizeitangebot innerhalb des Resorts: großes Swimmingpool, Bibliothek, kleines Kino, tägliches Yoga, Radfahren und Kayaking am Chalakudy River, sowie die Nähe zum nächsten Hauptort mit Gelegenheit zum Shopping und diverse Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Ein großes Dankeschön für den rundum feinen und erholsamen Aufenthalt im Softouch Ayurveda Village!

Idealny wypoczynek wśród natury
Niezapomniane doświadczenie. Miejsce położone wśród zieleni, przestronne i zadbane zakwaterowanie z pełnym wyposażeniem. Zabiegi były wyjątkowe, a jedzenie serwowane na śniadanie, obiad i kolację – wyśmienite. Obsługa i gościnność zasługują na szczególne wyróżnienie: po prostu doskonałe. Szczególnie doceniliśmy przytulną, domową atmosferę. Na pewno tu wrócimy!

Softouch, un endroit idéal pour détresser.
Accompagner de mon épouse, on a passé une semaine très reposant. Entre traitements Ayurveda, massages et le yoga, on s'est promenés dans une forêt verdoyante. On s'est senti comme dans une famille. Une semaine fantastique. Les gérants, càd, les propriétaires nous ont traités comme de la famille.

Beautiful, clean, perfect place to relax
I been stayed there for 2 weeks and I really enjoyed it. Living in a park area with beautiful trees, I felt comfortable in my cottage that was clean, spacious and fully equipped. I been relaxed a lot with the massage treatments, all Ayurvedic protocols were under doctors’ control. It’s safe beautiful place, all staff and owners were taking care of us , making our holidays perfect, immediately reacting on any request. Activities: we did cycling, kayaking, cooking class, went for the trip to waterfall, trip to Kochi.

He conocido algunos otros centros de tratamientos ayurvédicos en Kerala pero Softouch Ayurveda Village logró superar mis expectativas. El motivo: el trato familiar combinado con la profesionalidad del equipo de tratamientos, la joven dra. Anajana y todo el equipo de asistentes. La localización de este 'village', en medio de una gran extensión de terreno con desbordante vegetación, sobre todo cocoteros, es insuperable. El silencio es total, solo el piar de los pájaros. La familia Davis ha logrado que los clientes/pacientes nos sintamos únicos y exclusivos. La comida es deliciosa y el menú variado a gusto de cualquiera. En fin, realmente un refugio paradisiaco.

Incredible & unforgettable experience!!!
Soft touch review My husband and I just finished a 7 day ayurvedic treatment at Soft touch, and it was incredible!! I have chronic lower back pain, the customized ayurvedic treatment I received with daily consultation with Dr Anjana provided great relief, and I feel relaxed and rejuvenated! Drs are knowledgeable, the therapists are experienced and very professional. The resort is tucked away in about 15 acres of lush green, forest like property along chalukudy river where one can kayak. This resort is a nature lover’s paradise! Rooms were meticulously clean, tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable! The vegetarian meals provided were healthy and delicious!! Once a week they served festival style meals on a banana leaf!! There were soft yoga sessions every morning, the instructor Radesh is awesome! He is pursuing PhD in yoga, Good Luck to him! At the resort one can enjoy the olympic size pool, stroll the wilderness, kayak, or while indoors can play pool or carom game!! The staff are polite and attentive! Owner’s of this family owned resort Davis, Preethi, sons Karan and Kevin were so warm, kind and they went out of their way to ensure every guest was comfortable, and had an exceptional experience!! Wonderful Ayurveda experience
My 10 days stay at the Softouch Ayurveda Village is one i wont forget easily. I realy enjoyed everything, the good food, the professional treatments, the personal attention, the pleasant service and the peaceful nature environment, it all helped to bring balance back in my system and make me feel totally rejuvenated! Many thanks to the Karadan family, the medical team, massage therapists, yoga teacher, kitchen and household staff. You all did a wonderfull job in healing, relaxing and nurturing me, i truly wish i could stay longer. Thank you all for this wonderful expierence!

A Rare Find of the Best Kind!
What can I say that has not been mentioned in other reviews. Everything shared in all the reviews are accurate and Softouch is true to all the pictures shared. It's rare to feel touched from a trip, to feel like you leave a little part of you behind and take so much more away. That is perhaps a true testiment of how amazing a stay at Softouch is. Owned and managed by the beautiful Davis family who live on the grounds and make a personal effort to see to every guest, it prides itself in the highest kind of hospitability there is - making every guest feel at home, like an extended family. Comfort is key in all that they do. From the rooms, food, ambience, treatments, activities, service - everything was exceptional and makes you feel so at ease! We were fortunate on our stay to have had the opportunity to spend some time interacting with the family behind this wonder. Collectively, they have created and continue to build on their beautiful dream of developing a luxurious, homely ayurvedic resort experience and share it with each of their privileged guests. To say Softouch is highly recommended doesn't do it justice, you've got to experience it for yourself.
