An exceptional experience. The entire team was very kind and attentive at all times to what I might need, the environment was very beautiful and peaceful, and the therapies and yoga classes were incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating! I went for only 4 days, but it is definitely recommended to stay a few more days. An unforgettable experience, without a doubt, and when I can, I will return.

This was my third Ayurveda establishment in the last 12 months, and Softouch Ayurveda Village in Poolany, Chalakudy (Kerala) is the one that stood out most clearly for quality, calm, and genuine personal attention. We stayed from 24 December 2025 to 08 January 2026 on a 14 day programme. From the beginning, what impressed me was that Softouch feels owner-managed and deliberately “small”, not a crowded wellness hotel. The centre operates at a limited capacity (around 25 guests maximum), and that single factor changes the entire experience: it stays quiet, organised, and personal. What sets Softouch apart Owner-managed standards: Ms Preethy is hands-on and present, and it shows in the consistency of service, cleanliness, and the overall guest experience. Professional clinical guidance: The Ayurvedic doctors, especially Dr Anjana and Dr Jugunu, were thorough, attentive, and practical. Consultations felt structured and personalised, and treatments were adjusted rather than kept generic. Excellent treatment facilities: Treatment rooms are clean, well maintained, and professionally run. The setup is practical and comfortable, including shower facilities near treatment areas, something many places don’t get right. Staff and service culture: The therapists and support staff were respectful, well trained, and motivated. The atmosphere is calm and dignified, and the service is consistent across the team. The daily routine (a highlight) The programme wasn’t only about treatments, it was about the full rhythm of the day. Morning yoga sessions and evening meditation classes were a major value add. They weren’t “tick-box activities”; they created structure and helped deepen the overall wellness effect. Outcomes (without overclaiming) Across the 14 days, the combination of treatments + yoga + meditation led to noticeable improvements in sleep quality and a meaningful reduction in overall stress levels. It felt like a genuine reset, calmer mind, better rest, and more balance in day-to-day energy. Setting and atmosphere Softouch has a peaceful “village” feel with greenery and a naturally calming environment that supports rest and recovery. If you value privacy and quiet, the limited guest numbers make a real difference. Final thoughts If you are looking for a high-quality, personalised Ayurveda experience, with strong doctor oversight, excellent facilities, and a calm setting, Softouch is an easy recommendation. The combination of limited capacity, owner involvement, and consistent clinical and service standards makes it stand out. I would return.

The cuisine was excellent – fresh, balanced, and prepared with love – and the restaurant team was always attentive and kind. Sanjay’s yoga sessions were a real highlight and inspired us to continue practicing at home. We leave feeling refreshed, rebalanced, and very grateful. Our stay at Softouch Ayurveda Village & Resort was truly special. One of us wasn’t feeling well at first, and the whole team went above and beyond to take care of us and help us recover. We felt so supported and looked after throughout our stay. The food was absolutely wonderful — tasty, healthy, and made with care. Each treatment felt personal and relaxing. The resort itself is beautiful, spacious and ideal to calm down. You can feel that the medical staff really know their work and care deeply about each guest. We left feeling renewed, grateful, and very much at peace. We’d love to come back and can fully recommend it!

An excellent blend of luxury and authentic Ayurveda. Outstanding doctors and therapists. I enjoyed the Panchakarma treatments, a spacious cottage, nature walks, the nearby river and exceptional food. Highly recommended for wellness and chronic health concerns.
